It Doesn’t Feel Like 0-0

This is why we love Bill Belichick. After demolishing yet another opponent, achieving 14-win season for a record number of years for a heach coach, securing the top seed in the AFC, and generally being awesome, Bill told the team that they’re 0-0. They haven’t accomplished anything yet. Sure, he’s right, but come on!

The Patriots managed to avoid any serious injuries. Only Danny Woodhead left the game with an apparent head  injury. Hopefully he’s alright.

In the process of avoiding injuries, we got to see some bench players get some playing time. Taylor Price looks like a good prospect. Hoyer looked capable. Thomas Clayton (double dos) seemed like a serviceable back. Julian Edelman still has some explosiveness. I’m excited for the future of this young team. After all, this season is very surprising given the number of young players who are making major contributions.

So now we have a week off. The Patriots’ divisional playoff game will be on January 16 at 3:30 pm CT. I would love to see a huge crowd at McSwiggan’s. After all, they’re 0-0 and the games count for real from here on out. Let’s bring some playoff-level rowdiness to the game. See you there.
