The End is Just the Beginning

The Patriots 2009 season has come to a close in a most disappointing fashion. Looking back on the Patriots season, it should not be unexpected. They just didn’t have it all together this year. This is a talented team so I am already excited for next season. It would be premature to declare the end of the Patriots dynasty. As Mark Twain said, “the reports of my death are greatly exaggerated.” The Patriots will be back stronger than ever.

I am excited to do more with this community we have here. I do not see this as just a Patriots game watching group or fan club. I see this as a New England home away from home, a family. With the help of Bryce and the Red Sox group, I would like to stay close with all of you this offseason. We have some fun and exciting things planned, so keep in touch. My first order of business is to arrange some flag football games against other NFL fan clubs in the area. I would like to get the Patriots and Red Sox groups together for a softball game. And I am open to other suggestions, so email me at stephen@dallaspatsfans.com with your ideas.

I also think we found a home at McSwiggan’s with John and Jaimie and the rest of the crew. Let’s make sure we continue to support them. Check the Patriots and Red Sox meetup groups for other events, including the Mavs at Celtics on January 18, to be held at McSwiggan’s.

Thank you for your support, your enthusiasm, and your friendship.

Stephen
